Roku has hundreds of channels but unfortunately some or most major channels require subscription....but roku is the best by far .....

Please try again later.Yes you are able to download certain apps onto the TV but it comes preloaded with MANY apps, including the TLCGo App. I purchsed for my mom as she was wanting to "cut the cord" and her budget. As far as the wifi, durung setup you will be asked to connect to your router and thays when youll type in your password. You are then connected to your wifi permanently, (you do not have to sign in each time) unless the wifi is disabled for some reason. Hope this helps!
