“What is the distance between the legs on the base? In other words, how wide does the table or ledge need to be to support the TV?”

• Not sure. About 24 inches (don’t take my word for this) maybe but that was a problem for me because where we were going to set it up was a small table. I bought an adapter stand (https://click.emailinfo2.bestbuy.com/?qs=2c9a98f57ebf6b64aeeadeab0a31b3e71b5615a6385adf0fdd0d8a22910b7433e51dfd41e97ce1d6aa89ad1807822acad950fcc6d4892777665ad1c7600c4e0f) that works as a center base and actually lets you pivot the screen and it worked great.
