Can be used with cable, roku is extra feature

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As far as I understand it, you have to have a roku account to set up the tv. Once it's set up, it can be run off of roku or regular cable. To make the actual roku account it's free, but you pay for most of the channels on roku, like Netflix or sling tv. But to answer your question, yes it can run off of cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main interface is Roku. So you switch HDMI channels and so forth by clicking on the appropriate tile in the Roku gui. You can set it to go to a particular input every time you power up, though.
