Does smart tv need a dvr recorder? Or is it part of tv? null

This TV does not have a built-in DVR. Actually, I don't think I've ever heard of any TV that has a built in DVR. The "Smart Features" enable this TV to connect to several streaming services such as Netflix, Plex, Hulu, Amazon Video, etc. (and basically any channel that Roku...just Google "Roku channels for more details on this").
