• Hello, the Roku account on this unit is free and does not require a fee. If you do not wish to activate the Roku account, yes you are able to use with cable box only.

• No the roku is free. The apps on roku are free to download you just have to worry about fees while using the app like if you need to buy a Netflix membership or pay for premium access to use some of them

• No fee to use Roku. Services linked with Roku, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc carry their own fees though. Yes, you can use this unit with a cable box or external antenna.

• No there isn't a fee for roku, and it will work fine with a cable box, we're have it hooked up to basic cable and it's fine.
