Hello, on this unit, you are only able to connect smartphones/tablets via Bluetooth. You have the option of connecting headphones and earphones to the PHONES port on the front of the unit. Please ensure that your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and impedance between 16 and 50 ohms. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms.
