“Is there a way to get the display to be blank when not using the system? I don't like to see lights on all the time.”

Have had mine a few weeks ---after CD plays last CD system shuts off and the screen is blank---after listening to radio etc I press the red off button and screen goes blank---I pressed the "eco button" -second button from left on second to last row on bottom of the remote when I first used the system as noted on page E-3 of instructions --when the "eco button" is on the system saves power when it is off-- the screen is blank---this solution should work----

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Rosekate, your unit is presently in demonstration mode therefore you will see words scrolling across the display. To cancel the demonstration mode, press the DEMO button on the remote control once. The unit will enter the Bluetooth mode. To cancel the Bluetooth standby mode, press the ECO button on the remote control. The unit will enter the low power consumption mode and shut off. If you wish to return to demonstration or Bluetooth standby mode press the DEMO button again.
