• My unit is stand only. I have been able to pair it with my sound bar for my TV. I am very happy with my purchase.

• It doesn't have to be hooked up to a tv. I have mine on my home office desk. It is a great system. I use it to play some of my old CDs. Also have my phone and alexa connected by Bluetooth.
