I don't have cable in my home but I do have other smart televisions (Samsung Brands) that I can scan the television and they will look for the local channels that are being broadcasted for free (the basic channels) CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, ect and those televisions pick those channels up for free, this television is not scanning for those channels, however I thought that it was because I didn't have cable. Unsure of the answer, maybe contact the manufacturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you're using a cable box, all you do is find the input source of whatever hdmi it is. You don't have to scan for channels or anything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem, but my channels did work, my volume on/off didn't. I called my cable company, they were happy to help walk me through.. Guess user error :)
