“Why can this TV not find my cable channels? Why when I program my remote for cable it only works on volume and on/off? Channels don't work, muchless, don't have cable channels, won't find them, done numerous scans? Frustrated!!!!”

I don't have cable in my home but I do have other smart televisions (Samsung Brands) that I can scan the television and they will look for the local channels that are being broadcasted for free (the basic channels) CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, ect and those televisions pick those channels up for free, this television is not scanning for those channels, however I thought that it was because I didn't have cable. Unsure of the answer, maybe contact the manufacturer.
