This connection has to be wired as you are not able to connect a headphone wirelessly. The wire needed is a 3.5 mini jack cord. • A:Answer It's hard to imagine why anyone would need something better or more expensive than this budget TV. Picture quality is totally stunning and remote source navigation and Netflix access are a breeze. Audio quality is absolutely good enough for my wife's not too critical ears, but I will definitely be adding a budget sound bar. Don't know about long term reliability so I bought the 5-year service contract.
