  • Questioncan you stream amazon on this tv

    Asked by jack.

    • Answer I use Amazon Prime Video. It is one of the ROKU tv selections. Once you choose the PRIME video option, you are required to log into Amazon via the web and input the code given onto the tv screen. After the one-time code log in your Amazon Prime is set up and you can access it from the ROKU TV screen or your Cable provider (mine is Xfinity) remote

  • QuestionI need clarification.......the ROKU TV....Does NOT have access to Amazon PRIME Video service and the FIRE TV.......Does BUT........NOT to ROKU Channels?? I Have ROKU in the House Already but want to have in on New TV..But Also Use Amazon prime.

    Asked by LittleMikey.

    • Answer I can access Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, the Roku channel app, CBS All Access. If you have the roku tv you should be able to go to the streaming channels section and select the channels you want to stream. The new TV has ROKU built in so regardless of whether you have another ROKU in the house or not, the TV has ROKU.

  • QuestionIs it possible to watch content in its original frame rate? Specifically 24p for movies?

    Asked by John.

    • Answer Progressive scan liquid crystal displays (LED backlit in this case) do not technically reproduce images in frames per second (FPS) in the way a movie projected via film reel would. Progressive scan has a Refresh Rate expressed in Hertz (Hz). This particular model is 60Hz, meaning it can refresh the screen 60 times per second, assuming the source is being delivered at at least that rate (although it does not reproduce the entire image at once as rolling film reel would). Generally speaking in terms of display, it would be undesirable to scale back the refresh rate unless the source data is being delivered faster than the TV/Monitor can display it, so I would find it unlikely that this unit is capable of "slowing down" to 24Hz via internal settings. However, if you could deliver source data at 24 fps to a compatible input format (and have any upscaling options turned off), this TV could easily display images at 24 fps.
