• does that mean if i purchase this now i am buying something that has been sitting somewhere for 4 years is it a recent manufacture f a 2017 model?

• This is the model I bought a month ago. It is similar to the one that died after 25-plus years of use. I am very happy with the new one as I was with the old one. Maybe all the questions are old because this product gives so little trouble to people and lasts so long. The new one is more powerful and has a more complete set of settings but as we know, adding bells and whistles makes for more parts to fail. Nevertheless, I hope to get many years out of this one as I did the last one.
