“3d tv, will it show regular non-3d pictures as well as a non-3d tv will? I am not sold that 3d is the future yet, but, will this TV give as good a picture on a regular Blueray movie (not 3d) as a non-3d TV will? Other words, since all my current DVD and Blu-Ray disks are not 3d, will this effect the quality of those movies?”

Great questions! The 3D feature of the LC70LE845U Sharp television is not always active. You will have to choose select to switch from viewing a 2D image to viewing a 3D image. You will be able to view all of the movies that you currently own without any issues. Until you select to enable the 3D feature, the TV will work like a normal LED TV.
