“Does this get very hot anywhere on the outside? I have breathing issues & can no longer use my regular oven as a result. Does this give off any smoke, etc or strong smell other than aroma of whatever you're cooking/baking? Thanks”

Yes, the oven door, outer cabinet, oven cavity, accessory and especially the heating elements will become hot. You may detect smoke or a burning smell when using the appliance for the first time, this is normal and not a sign that the appliance is out of order. Smoke will occur during cooking if the food touches the upper heaters.

Please try again later.Unfortunately the one and only drawback of this oven is the extremely hot surfaces of the inside of the oven and the plates I use to heat up leftovers, etc. I need to use potholders, grabbers, etc. The outside gets hot but no more than a toaster oven. There is no odor caused by the unit.
