Are these bone conduction headphones? null

No these are not bone conduction, they are open ear. Nothing goes in the ear they are small speakers that rest near the ear. Extremely comfortable. Not noise cancelling the purpose is to be able to hear your surroundings. Don't expect great bass but they sound better than bone conduction.

I don't think so. The part on the back that goes around your ear is where the battery is, the sound all comes in through your ear canal and it's not a snug fit (at least on my ears), so I think they may have had to make these louder than the typical earbuds that snugly fit in your ear canal (because they block background noise too)
