Unsure what model you have, but my Shokz open ear do announce the caller's name on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. I had to adjust my settings in my phone app to allow this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Shokz claims their headsets can announce caller names. They can't on stock Android. Not under any circumstances. All instructions and WorkArounds are untrue. It would be expected that basic functions that have been standard for many years would be included in this price range. This is not the case with Shokz. This essential feature does not work OutOfTheBox, nor does it work with Android board tools. So far there is no way to activate it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello-Shokz here! Caller identification is a setting on the phone that can be turned on. If the phone setting is turned on to announce the caller's name, then you will hear this through the OpenRun Pro 2 when it's connected to your device. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions! Thanks.
