- Answer Hi there- Shokz here! The OpenRun Pro is not designed for swimming. Bluetooth cannot travel through water, therefore the OpenSwim has MP3 capability, allowing them to be used while swimming. Our new OpenSwim Pro has both MP3 (to be used while swimming) and Bluetooth (for use on land). The OpenRun Pro has an IP55 rating that weathers dust and moisture, so they are durable enough to withstand rainy runs, sweaty rides, or other gritty conditions.
