“Is there an app these work with off your iphone to use them like a hearing aid? I am completely deaf in my left ear and I'm wondering if these would help me with hearing and pinpointing where noise is coming from?”

There is an app for that. The headset has proven to be effective for people with hearing issues, so combined with an app you might actually achieve the hearing aid like setup you desire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These do not function like hearing aids. They are simply a Bluetooth headset. I am also completely deaf in my left ear since early childhood. These do not help me in that regard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm deaf (100%) in my right ear. It doesn't help with making the bad ear receive sound. Hearing aids are the only thing that work like hearing aids. If you're looking to get back function of the bad ear (if cros hearing aids haven't worked), Id look into either a BAHA (Bone Anchor Hearing Aid), or a cochlear implant.
