Can you use them when riding a motorcycle null

Absolutely! Being aware and able to hear the world while riding might be really helpful. However, if you ride a really loud bike, the Shokz may not be loud enough to overcome the sound. Keep in mind: there is absolutely no noise blocking or cancelling with these headphones — hence the name "Open Ear".
