“I need a Shure or equivalent wireless 2 microphone system.I need the microphones to be able to pick up voice from someone when they are talking 12 inches from the microphone. The receiver will only be about 50 feet from a microphone. What do you recommend”

There are many variables for this, but Shure has plenty of options. To start, a headset mic or lavalier might be a better option if the person is going to moving or not standing directly in front of another microphone. If you prefer a handheld mic, condensers are more sensitive and will do a better job picking up sound at a distance, but there are tradeoffs. These are available in our SLXD+ wireless products. If you prefer a gooseneck mic, these are available in our ULXD line. I would recommend giving our applications department a call and they will be able to get you the right system.
