• If you currently have an IR remote that has a button that does this, then it probably can be done. Otherwise I don't think so.

• It can only be programmed with an infrared remote. So, if your infrared remote has a button that can do that, then "yes"... otherwise, there isn't a way to program it with codes... it just copies the infrared signal from another remote.
