“Is bring your own phone or BYOP sim card the same as keep your own phone sim card?”

• Not sure. I already had service & purchased a new phone & a new sim. I couldnt activate the new sim by myself so i called Simple Mobile. They refused to activate the new sim. I ended up putting my old sim in the new phone

• No, the SIM card is a completely new SIM card. You wouldn’t be able to use your old SIM card as it is connected to a different policy and billing.
