Yes, but you must have 1 year of service with tf. After your year is up, contact tf and request a sim unlock.

Simple, since tracfone has real people ready to serve you for your needs. I had a few issues with initial setup, which if I had a different carrier, it would have been an all day experience. Just having tracfone as my carrier, paid for its self right away. No issues contacting support. Excellent phone and service!
