Yes, you can use this with your laptop. I use mine with a laptop and a tablet. I can have internet service on my tablet wherever I go. No, this device does not come with internet access. For internet service, you have to contact Simple Mobile online in some way (I used my cell phone to go online to get in touch with Simple Mobile) and sign up for monthly internet service. There are no contracts. You can cancel the internet service at any time. Or you can continue monthly internet service from month to month. With Simple Mobile, the internet service is really inexpensive.
