While I have not had a need to connect a TV, I have used this device to connect a Samsung Galaxy Phone, a laptop, a Macbook and an iPad. You just turn on your wifi option on the devices and find the Moxie as a Wifi source - connect and enter the password - which is available on the Moxie screen via the menu.
