The unit comes with a plate that is screwed onto the house and on which the camera mount is is installed. The camera attaches to the mount magnetically. The magnetic connection is VERY strong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I drilled 2 small holes in upstairs window sill. then attached base piece to the window sill. Then base twists on. I can change the batteries from inside the house at the window upstairs. No ladder needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the outdoor cameras are attached via magnets to the base. The only item that requires 2 screws to mount is the base plate. Once the base plate is mounted then the cameras are attached and removed via magnets.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes with mounting plate that uses two screws to mount and a magnet which the camera attaches to. Believe they may have another mount that will screw into back of camera housing, that would be more secure.
