“Do I need a SimpliSafe System for this button, or do I just need the button? I don't have a system, but I want a Panic Button somewhere in my house, but don't want to pay for a SimpliSafe system. Will it still work without being connected the internet???”

• You need a SimpliSafe System for the panic button to work, but you do not need a subscription plan. Without a subscription, the system would alert and make noise, but nobody will be notified. The button was smaller than expected.

• You would have to have the SimpliSafe base WiFi connected to the internet for the Panic Button to work and the monthly SimpliSafe subscription.
