Q: QuestionFor someone buying this for the first time and researching, trying to learn it, isn't it a tad misleading to say "8 sensors" when there's only 4 whole sensors but you're counting the 2 pieces together that make 1 sensor. Don't think feel that's right.

• A:Answer Mine says four entry sensors and came with four full (eight total pieces) entry sensors and a motion sensor, the base and the keypad for a total of seven parts. It was as advertised so maybe they sent you the wrong packet or maybe the description was read wrong?

You can use the app to monitor the camera and system activity, arm and disarm the security system, and get notifications (armed/disarmed, power outages, system tests, etc.). It’s a great system that I set up in under an hour and has given me a lot of peace of mind.

Q: QuestionWhat cellphone networks are available for this monitoring? The only cell tower in range is AT&T (Verizon will not function here at all) I read that 2 SIM cards are available for Simplisafe 1 was Verizon...will the other one be able to use the AT&T Cell

• A:Answer Yes. Each entry sensor chimes when the door or window is opened. If you live in a large house and aren't near the home base you might not hear it but you can set Simplisafe to send text notifications to your cell phone.
