The Singer model M3330 sewing machine is capable of sewing some heavy weight fabrics with the proper machine settings and needle. The presser foot on the Singer model M3330 sewing machine lifts to approximately 1/4 inch. Please be aware that if you sew on multiple layers that are too thick and it raises the presser foot too high (higher than the normal presser foot up position), the top tension will be disengaged and the machine will not make a proper stitch (may jam machine).
