We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing some challenges when playing CDs. You first want to make sure Disc is not inserted upside down. Disc may be dirty, wipe CD with a soft lint free cloth, check Disc for any scratches or lifting of CD paper label, make sure CD bear the standard logo which is displayed on the CD door of your karaoke machine, check to see if lens is dirty and use a soft lint free cloth to wipe the inside lens. check for any moisture forming around CD deck.
