Are you using the microphone with a Singing Machine karaoke system as our microphones are primarily meant to be used with our karaoke machines? Check to make sure you have the correct battery inserted in the receiver pack (9V battery). make sure you turn on the microphone and the receiver pack switch are set to the ON position before attempting to use. We also invite to access our website as we have the Instruction Manual on-line. Simply visit: www.singingmachine.com and once on the HOME page, click on the SUPPORT Tab, then click on Product Manuals. Scroll down until you see ACCESSORIES. There you will see a picture of the wireless microphone, click on the image to open the manual.
