“Is there an easy install or do these radios all require wires to be placed under the rubber of door jams and outside, under the windshield? I am looking for an easy install radio that just attaches and works inside the car and is easily removable.”

For right now I have it mounted on my heater vent next to the car radio and the antenna on the dash in the front window. This way I can bring it in the house to use or put in a different car, tie wrap slack.
