The Onyx EZR with Vehicle kit comes with an NGVA3 vehicle antenna that magnetically mounts to a "ferrous" metal surface. Your RV may or may not have a metal surface on its roof. Maybe the cover of your AC unit on the roof might be suitable. Alternatively, you can securely mount to the roof a metal plate about 12in x 12in and place the antenna in the center of this plate. Alternatively you can purchase the NGHA3 indoor outdoor antenna which does not need a metal plate and mounts with screws to the roof of your RV. Just be sure to properly water proof any screw perforations to the RV so you don't get any water damage. And secure the antenna's cable so it doesn't flap around in the wind.
