In order to use it at home, you would need the Onyx Plus radio and the XM Universal Home Kit. The home kit plugs into an existing audio system in your home using RCA or AUX cables. It also comes with a home antenna that needs to be run close to a window, preferably south facing.

The kit has its own amplification (like an iPhone), so as long as you can plug in speakers to a headphone sized jack, you are good to go. I plugged in a 3.5mm bluetooth transmitter and send it over to my bluetooth speakers and it sounds great.
