• There is a boom box speaker docking station the you can buy at Best Buy that is what I use

• We really need to know more about the boat, but generally, If you have a metal surface to stick to and face up that would be ideal. However, that is not typically the case, so if you put it on the top of the drivers console (facing up) using some 3M automotive grade 2-way tape, this should work ok for inland lakes. You just need to avoid placing under metal surfaces. If we knew more about the boat or saw some photos, we could offer better options.
