Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi...your factory antenna is actually tuned to receive 3 different bands which are satellite, FM and AM. I guess you could try a temporary splice but the wiring from the antenna to the radio head unit may not give you an idea of which wires are for which band. Because your Cooper is a hatch, you can place the magnetic antenna very close to the hatch opening and hide the wiring all the way to the Onyx. I’d hate to see you try the factory antenna splice as that may be an expensive repair.
