The SXSD2 is designed to return to the SAME powered state that it was last in when power was removed and then power is restored. So if for example the SXSD2 was ON when power was removed, it will power back to the ON state when power is restored to the SXSD2. The SAME will happen to the satellite radio docked in the SXSD2. This means that as long as you have the SXSD2 turned ON and the Satellite radio turned on when you remove power from the SXSD2 then the SXSD2 and the radio will both turn back on when the power is restored to the SXSD2. Therefore, if you plug the AC power supply of your SXSD2 into an AC timer, you can use the timer to turn the power to your SXSD2 on a predetermined time and your SXSD2 will turn back on using the AC timer.
