Use the best buy app or online search at a local store to find out if you need to upgrade to new radio that is xm compatible...have different options...i got the kenwood...not a cd player...but is xm radio capable...check with your local store on look at there website and put in your info fer ur vehicle...

Please try again later.If your vehicle head unit supports Auxiliary input then all of our SiriusXM dock and play radios and the Roady BT can connect directly to your head unit via Auxiliary input. If your head unit does not have Aux-Input then you can use the optional FM Direct Adapter model FMDA25 to connect any of our Dock and play radios and the Roady BT to your 2005 GMC Sierra. Professional installation is recommended for the FMDA25 as it requires access to the back of your vehicle's head unit.
