• No it isn't. Check your bass level too and see if that makes a difference.

• I own a pair. Unless it's something loose that sounds like it's clanging or flopping around inside, then there is in fact a component that gives these headphones the unusually intense bass they have. If you tap the outside of the headphone, it's responds with a vibrating type of feeling/sensation. Hope that explanation helped
