“Shouldn't it be easier to pair together instead of keep having to disconnect them and start again? Why doesn't it fit in the carrying case without taking off the extra rubber piece? I think it's best to just exchange them :(”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Agreed. It would be easier to keep the pairing but they don't work that way. They do fit in carrying case with extra rubber pieces although the rubber pieces wear out in time. The rubber pieces make removal from carrying case easier.
