Q: QuestionHow long to completely charge skullcandy Jib earbuds?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I bought them and used them at work right out of the box got about 4 hrs till they died, plugged them in when I got home it took just shy of 2 hrs and 45 minutes to charge and got the full 6 hrs the next day then every day after that full charge took 1hr and 8 minutes, for me I take them to work fully charged and plug them in in my truck at lunch for about 30 min and they run my entire 10-12 hr day best wireless you’ll find for 30$ Or less I bought mine on sale for 24$ after tax, I recommend them to anyone who can keep that in mind if you want better you’ll spend 60$ and up

Q: QuestionI bought these earphones few days ago and they seem pretty perfect to me. The main issue I have is that they stop working exactly 30 minutes from the time I connect them to my iPhone. What could I possibly do to solve this problem?
Asked by Kenny.
- A:Answer Tldr; it's a auto shut off feature that is very annoying. Only way I've been able to get around it is by using the button on the mic to play/pause. But have no fix for phone calls. I am unfortunately dealing with this Sam issue as well, it's not a charge issue since I can turn it back on and it will work for another 30 min. After speaking with Skullcandy I learned that there is an auto shut off set to 30 minutes to save battery if you are idle for 30 min. Unfortunately this seems to happen even if you are using the head phones and microphone. If you are using it to listen to music its fine if you occasionally use it to skip or replay a song or pause/play once every 30 min. However phone calls lasting longer than 30 mins are VERY annoying since the only way to really "use" them would be to hang up on the person you are speaking to, usually not something you want to do (though if you're in a long conversation about something you'd rather not be talking about its a good excuse) Seems like a flaw in the design if you want to use it for phone calls. I'm planning on getting a different Bluetooth headphone set that doesn't do this Sorry about the huge answer

Q: QuestionHow the singnal can walk and run will the head phones lose their singnal

- A:Answer I have had mine for a about a month now. I use them every Wednesday and Thursday during my billiard leagues. I leave my phone around which ever pool table I will be playing on that night. I'm constantly moving around the pool hall while playing a game, coaching a team member on a near by table, or at the bar getting a drink or in the bathroom. Anywho Im all over the place, between inches away from my phone all the way to around 40ish feet, and have yet to have any signal issues do to moving around but I have not ran with them. The only time I did lose signal was when the battery died out on me mid match. Which really sucks. Skullcandy claims a 6 hour battery life, I seem to get 3-4 hours out of mine. Also these buds are not very loud. Which is good so you aren't damaging your ears blasting your music for a extended amount of time, BUT I believe they are just a little TOO low on the volume especially how I use them in a busy bar atmosphere that has karaoke, live band/DJ, or Juke box not to mention all the people playing league 80 - 100 or more people talking and playing pool gets pretty loud. And these buds just don't pump out the volume to isolate your tunes from everything else around you, and the only volume control is through your phone/audio device you are using. And last issue i have with these headphones is the in-line mic and audio control. When I use these wearing the neck cable along the back of my neck, the in-line mic/audio control puts extra weight on the left side causing the neck cable pull to the left in turn pulling the larger bluetooth receiver off center of my neck/back in turn pulling the right side of the unit across my neck which become very uncomfortable. My fix to the is to wear the head phones with the neck cable draping down from the front and tucking the receiver piece under my collar to keep it from dangling around and being annoying. Sorry I have not used or tested phone calls on these yet, mainly because that isn't why I bought these, I got them exclusively to play music while playing league. And also sorry for going off on your answer. I will probably copy most of this and added it to a review on the skullcandy website and other places that sell this headphones. Still on the hunt for a awesome wireless bud style headphone that won't break the back.
