Does it pick up background noise null

If you mean, does it pick up other transmissions and rebroadcast them, the answer is not in my experience. If you mean, can you hear outside sounds while using them, the answer is yet, but you have some control via the app over the amount that comes through.

Nop, but you can enable background noise on the skullcandy app.
