• Yes. Its very very slight but its there. I think most people wouldn't notice, I do though lol

• It seems like it does on certain shows and or apps you may use. I read the manual though and they do suggest to avoid that to connect through HDMI instead. Haven't needed to switch from Optical to HDMI since the apps I use dont cause that though.
