Yes, it has good noise cancellation, heres some of the things it can:
People yapping in the background
Television noise
Gaming noise
Cooking noise
Outside noises
Sounds of rain, thunder, etc
Babies crying/dog barks
If in the car, you wont hear a thing, assuming the radio in the car is not on full blast
Clapping sounds, etc.

Basically anything you can think of that would go on in a normal day, but anything like a radio, television on full blast or like at a concert, or anything really loud out of the ordinary, it will not cancel out.

Yes! Especially at the cross-walks, coffee shops, and subways which are places where you have so many noise interference.

they are not cancelling they are reduction.. So you still hear ambient noise outside.

I use them when i am mowing the lawn. I do have to have it turned up but they work just fine.

Well, the sound quality is very good and pretty loud. So there is very low possibility that you will hear any ambiance noise, and therefore I can say it is pretty good at noise cancellation. Hope that helps.

Yes, Depends on songs though...Some sound loud some don't so it depends.

Yes , for me they I wear them when I'm preparing things at work in the mornings and cannot hear anyone else or anything while wearing them.

Cancels out: loud tvs, noisy drunk brothers, loud video games, noisy neighbors, people talking right in front of you

Muffles: driving, possibly other things I usually just use these in my house
