“How is the bass? I bought a jay bird pair costing 179, and the bass sucked so I had to return them. Also is the treble at all harsh or louder than the bass? Thanks!”

They sound good, You would be hard pressed to get good lows from in ear headphones.

Please try again later.I find that there is actually too much bass for my taste (I have gotten used to it though) but I think to most it would be a good amount, as I generally prefer less bass than most people. I would compare them to Beats by Dre as far as bass bias. I imagine that you would find the other frequencies well balanced unless you're used to listening to vinyl. I would definitely not characterise the treble as harsh though in any case.

Please try again later.In the beginning of "Bring Me to Life" by Evenasence, there is a bass hit that tend to be missed on most headphones and speakers unless there is a bass driver. I was able to hear it enough for it to sound good. It didn't rattle my head, but it was pleasant enough to sound good. I am pleased with the sound produced for the price. It's not Bose level sound, but you are not paying the Bose price either.
