• Don't know how it would interact with ROKU,not familiar with ROKU, however, you can access Slingbox with a computer, so it you are able to connect your computer to your parents' tv via a cord like HMDI it should work if the TV has the ability to mirror what is on the computer. I would like to see if it is possible to cast with with Chromecast from the computer to tv. That would be the easiest if it works.

• You will need a direct internet connection. I don't think ROKU can connect to it.
