• I think there are essentially the same things out there for less money. I went with this one because I live far out in the country and didn't want the hassle of driving a long way to get a replacement in the event I bought the wrong one.

• Yes, there are different sizes - 1/2”, 5/8”, etc. make sure to choose the correct size for your unit as well as for the line from your home.
