• An adapter, fitting can be purchased to connect this line to a 3/8" copper line.

• Yes if you have the right adapters the ends are threaded fittings (female) so you would need them on the tubing. If you use the 'geek squad' be sure to have them bring some compression fittings for your copper tube. Otherwise try Ace or Home depot.

• Get a 3/8" to 1/4 coupling and it shall work fine

• I didn't pay attention to the size I need I have the geek squad take care of it. I know that each refrigerator have a different size for hook up .
