• The colors are on the collection box that you hook the wires from the dishwasher.

• Very sorry, I didn't have any thing to do with the dishwasher installation this time. I had all my appliances installed by Best Buy contractors this time. In my experience the power cord usually comes installed to the dishwasher. since the dishwasher is an Alternating Current (A/C) usually it should work fine if the wires are switched around. Which brand and model is the dishwasher?.
