Depends more on the type and depth of the snow being cleared. The heavier the snow the harder to push, however, if you allow the machine to bite into the snow at its own pace pushing is much easier. It actually sort of pulls itself into the snow, Light fluffy snow is no problem depending on how deep the snow is. 8-10 inches is good max depth for the machine. But the machine is not that heavy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This blower is light weight enough to push in light & fluffy snow that is approximately 12 to 18 inches deep (from my personal experience) In heavy & wet snow, you may have a more difficult time pushing. I hope this is helpful.
